Lead DevOps Engineer
Symetra has an exciting opportunity for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join the team working on our new Stop Loss platform.
About the role
As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you’ll support the development and operation of a new Stop Loss platform by managing AWS-based cloud environments and CI/CD processes.
What you will do
- Partner with application teams to design and set up cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows
- Build and maintain scalable AWS-based environments to support application needs
- Implement and manage CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps or similar platforms) to streamline delivery processes
- Use hands-on cloud engineering skills to troubleshoot and optimize environments and deployments
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to create, debug, and understand code, scripts, pipelines, and cloud configurations

Compensation
Salary Range: $128,700 - $214,600 base plus eligibility for the company annual bonus program.
