Lead DevSecOps Engineer-ACWS
Summary
Lead DevSecOps operations managing CI/CD pipelines, security integration, patching, monitoring, and incident response across multiple environments using AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, and GitLab CI/CD on a DoD program.
All hired employees are expected to have experience with Microsoft Copilot and / or an approved equivalent AI solution.
DevSecOps Lead Summary: Lead DevSecOps operations, overseeing CI/CD pipelines, hosting coordination, security integration, patching, monitoring, and incident response across multiple environments.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years in cloud/platform engineering, including at least 3 years leading DevSecOps or infrastructure automation for enterprise applications.
- Cloud, DevOps, or Kubernetes credential; such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator required; CompTIA Security+ required; CISSP/CASP+ should be preferred
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD, automated security scanning, environment promotion controls, containerization, patching, and operational sustainment in secure enterprise environments
- Experience managing DevSecOps teams in enterprise environments
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline administration, release coordination, and environment alignment
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, vulnerability management, system monitoring, and operational incident response
- Experience supporting cloud environments, with knowledge of common platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Ability to coordinate across hosting and development teams
- Working knowledge of AI concepts and practical applications
- Active Secret clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret clearance based on Government requirements
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with AWS GovCloud, IL5/IL6 environments, Appian deployment processes, and RMF-aligned delivery in federal systems is highly desired
Responsibilities:
- Lead DevSecOps and platform operations across environments
- Manage CI/CD execution, release coordination, and environment alignment
- Oversee security integration, monitoring, patching, and incident response
- Coordinate with hosting, development, and infrastructure teams to sustain secure delivery
