As a technical expert with a solid technical foundation, this role has extensive knowledge of the full product lifecycle from development, production to application. The incumbent leads the analysis and resolution of product technical issues, drives product design improvement and continuous improvement of R&D processes, and ensures product stability, cost efficiency and quality consistency
This position reports to the Shanghai R&D Technical Manager and will be located in Shanghai.

• Lead identification, root cause analysis, solution development and closed-loop resolution of post-mass-production design issues to stabilize production and reduce defect rates and customer complaints.
• Drive product design improvement and continuous improvement of R&D processes based on production issues, update design checklist, standards to prevent recurrence.
• Perform concurrent engineering: participate in NPI, design reviews and trial production, propose pre-optimization suggestions from the perspective of typical circuit failure modes, reliability and testability.
• Conduct technical risk assessment of engineering changes (ECO/ECN) for products, coordinate implementation and control versions to ensure smooth transition.
• Lead the development, qualification and evaluation of second-source material solutions.
• Act as the R&D technical representative in cross-functional collaboration with production, quality, supply chain and suppliers, and solve complex issues involving mixed factors of design, materials and processes.
• Maintain legacy products, provide on-site technical support, handle quality anomalies and manage technical risks.
• Summarize failure cases and lessons learned, build engineering knowledge base, promote best practices to enhance team’s technical capability.
