Summary
Lead the financial reporting function for Mashreq Bank, consolidating data to produce accurate IFRS-compliant accounts and MIS, while maintaining GL records and liaising with auditors and regulators.
Assist in preparation, collection and consolidation of data for all Mashreq Bank entities so as to produce timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual Group Accounts & MIS in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Assist in preparing & providing information to external auditors and also UAE Central Bank examiners for smooth accomplishment of their respective functions.
- Responsible for GL maintenance activities like GLs, product, cost center, project codes etc.
- Perform Head Office accounting functions including maintenance of all accounting records pertaining to Head Office branch and related arrangements & recording of income from other sources etc.
