Lead - Forward Deployed Engineer

• Lead and mentor junior engineers; break requirements into technical tasks and guide implementation.
  • Design, review and build production applications across frontend, backend, APIs and databases.
  • Use AI coding tools, LLMs and agentic development to improve engineering productivity while maintaining code quality.
  • Establish practical standards for AI-generated code, testing, security and production quality.
  • Work with existing/legacy applications and contribute to modernization, migration and integration.
  • Contribute to CI/CD, testing, security and production deployments; troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Make practical architecture decisions for scalable, high-performance and maintainable applications.
  • Understand business logic and existing codebases and translate requirements into sensible technical solutions.

Mandatory Skills Set

• TypeScript / JavaScript, React / Next.js, Node.js / NestJS
  • PostgreSQL or similar databases; APIs and system design
  • Production application development end-to-end
  • LLMs, AI coding assistants and AI-assisted development
  • Software architecture, code review, testing and CI/CD
  • Security, deployments, troubleshooting and Git

Desirable Skill Set

• Python / Java
• Legacy application modernization, migration and integration
• Strong mentoring and technical leadership experience
• Agentic AI / AI-native engineering practices
• Ability to understand existing codebases, business logic, dependencies and data flows
