Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Lead Software Development Engineer Frontend with strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript, and frontend architecture. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in developing high-performance web applications, designing reusable UI components, optimizing application performance, and contributing to architectural decisions while mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and technical specifications to identify suitable technologies and solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance, and reusable frontend applications.
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js and modern JavaScript.
• Develop and maintain UI components and frameworks, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and performance.
• Contribute to application architecture and design, including High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Work closely with backend developers, product teams, business stakeholders, and designers.
• Troubleshoot production issues, debug UI/UX problems, and improve application reliability.
• Perform cross-browser compatibility testing and optimize page speed and overall application performance.
• Lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers while remaining hands-on.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5–7 years of overall software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js.
• At least 3 years of experience with React.js and Webpack.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including core concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience in frontend architecture, HLD, LLD, SOLID principles, design patterns, and scalable system design.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL; understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Proven ability to technically lead and mentor junior developers.
• Knowledge of SEO, Progressive Web Applications (PWA), page speed optimization, and web performance.

Good to Have

• Experience with React 18 or later.
• Exposure to MVC frameworks and database optimization.
• Experience building scalable, production-grade FinTech or high-traffic applications.
