Lead Frontend Engineer

We are looking for a lead Frontend Engineer with strong hands-on experience in React.js and excellent frontend engineering fundamentals. You will play a key role in building scalable, high-performance user interfaces for complex, data-intensive applications. This role is ideal for an engineer who combines deep technical expertise with sound architectural thinking, a strong focus on code quality, and the ability to take ownership of frontend development end-to-end.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance frontend applications using React.js .
• Build reusable components, shared UI patterns, and maintainable frontend architecture.
• Apply strong fundamentals in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, browser rendering, and asynchronous programming.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into reliable user experiences.
• Optimize application performance, rendering efficiency, responsiveness, and overall usability.
• Establish engineering best practices around code quality, testing, debugging, and maintainability.
• Take ownership of technical decisions, code reviews, and frontend architecture.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to improving the team's frontend engineering standards.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in frontend development, with substantial hands-on experience in React.js .
• Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, ES6+, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Deep understanding of React concepts, including hooks, component lifecycle, state management, rendering behavior, and component composition.
• Solid knowledge of frontend architecture, reusable design patterns, and scalable application development.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous data flows, loading states, errors, and edge cases.
• Strong understanding of browser internals, DOM manipulation, event handling, and web performance optimization.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks and writing maintainable, reliable code.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex UI issues and make sound engineering trade-offs.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and clear communication.

Good to Have:

• Experience building complex, data-heavy dashboards or enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling, CI/CD workflows, and design systems.
• Experience with Next.js or other modern React frameworks.
• Exposure to accessibility, responsive design, and frontend security best practices.
• Previous experience working in fast-paced product teams or early-stage startups.
