Job Summary

Payswiff Technologies is looking for an experienced Principal Frontend Engineer / Frontend Engineering Lead with strong expertise in frontend architecture, modern JavaScript frameworks, and scalable web application development.

The candidate will be responsible for designing reusable frontend frameworks, component libraries, and shared modules to improve developer productivity, application performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable frontend frameworks, component libraries, and shared modules.
• Define frontend architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
• Build reusable solutions for authentication, API integration, logging, and error handling.
• Drive frontend performance optimization, scalability, and application security.
• Implement frontend observability, monitoring, and error tracking.
• Establish automated testing strategies and CI/CD integration.
• Improve developer productivity through reusable tools and standardized workflows.
• Collaborate with backend, product, UX, and platform engineering teams.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Extensive experience with React.js, Angular, or similar frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of frontend architecture, component-based development, and state management.
• Experience building reusable component libraries, design systems, and shared frameworks.
• Knowledge of Micro Frontends, Module Federation, Nx, or Turborepo.
• Understanding of frontend performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
• Experience with REST APIs, SSR, and backend microservices integration.
• Knowledge of web application security and OWASP standards.
• Experience with Jest, Playwright, Cypress, or similar testing tools.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of frontend engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in frontend architecture and framework development.
• Proven ability to build reusable abstractions and enterprise-grade frontend platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving, system design, and technical decision-making skills.
• Ability to drive engineering standards and mentor development teams.
