Job Title: Lead Full-Stack Developer - Architecture & End-to-End Product Development

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Lead Full-Stack Developer who can independently architect, design, develop, and deploy scalable, production-ready software products from scratch. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise across backend, web, mobile, databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure, along with the technical leadership required to take products from concept to production.

Role & Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end system architecture, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Architect and develop scalable backend services using Node.js, NestJS, Express.js, TypeScript, and preferably Go lang.
• Design and develop web applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart for Android and iOS.
• Design scalable system architectures, microservices, service-oriented systems, event-driven architectures, and real-time applications.
• Build secure REST APIs, WebSockets/Socket.IO integrations, authentication, authorization, JWT, OAuth, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Design, develop, and optimize PostgreSQL/MySQL databases, MongoDB, and Redis, including schema design, indexing, transactions, caching, and query performance.
• Select and implement suitable ORM technologies, such as Prisma, Drizzle, TypeORM, or Sequelize.
• Develop real-time features, including location tracking, proximity-based matching, ride booking, and driver allocation, using geospatial technologies where required.
• Integrate LLMs and Generative AI capabilities, including external AI APIs, RAG-based systems, embeddings, vector databases, AI agents, and tool calling, in collaboration with the dedicated AI/ML Engineer.
• Design and implement secure payment integrations, transaction processing, webhook handling, idempotency, and payment reconciliation.
• Implement cloud infrastructure and deployments using AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish application security, logging, monitoring, error handling, performance optimization, scalability, and reliability best practices.
• Lead technical decisions, code reviews, debugging, documentation, and mentoring of developers.
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, backend, and AI/ML engineers to deliver integrated product capabilities.
• Independently drive critical engineering deliverables from requirements gathering and architecture through implementation, production release, and ongoing optimization.

Required Skills

1. Backend Development

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, NestJS, Express.js, and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, backend architecture, and API design.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices or service-oriented architectures.
• Experience with WebSockets and Socket.IO for real-time communication.
• Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization, including JWT, OAuth, and RBAC.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming, concurrency, error handling, and backend performance optimization.

2. Frontend & Mobile Development

• Strong experience with React.js and modern frontend architecture.
• Practical experience with Next.js.
• Hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart for Android and iOS application development.
• Good understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience integrating web and mobile applications with REST APIs.
• Understanding of state management, application lifecycle, performance optimization, and real-time communication.

3. Database & Data Architecture

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
• Practical experience with MongoDB and familiarity with Redis.
• Expertise in database design, indexing, query optimization, transactions, and data integrity.
• Familiarity with ORMs such as Drizzle, Prisma, TypeORM, or Sequelize.
• Understanding of database scalability, caching strategies, and efficient data access patterns.

4. AI & Generative AI Integration

• Hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI applications.
• Experience integrating OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar APIs.
• Understanding of RAG architecture, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Understanding of AI agents, tool calling, prompt engineering, and AI workflow development.
• Python experience for AI integrations or backend services is preferred.
• Ability to integrate AI capabilities into production applications and collaborate effectively with a dedicated AI/ML Engineer.

5. Cloud & DevOps

• Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub/GitLab workflows.
• Experience with production deployments, logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-native architecture.

6. System Architecture & Engineering

• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Experience designing distributed systems and high-concurrency applications.
• Ability to make sound architectural decisions and evaluate technology trade-offs.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable, and production-ready code.

Good to Have

• Experience building high-scale, real-time, or performance-critical applications.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Experience with PostGIS or other geospatial technologies.
• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Experience working in early-stage startups or developing products from scratch.
• Experience with payment gateways, transaction-heavy systems, and third-party integrations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience: 7 to 12 years of software development experience, with substantial hands-on architecture and development responsibilities.
• Proven experience independently designing and building complete software products from scratch and taking them into production.
• Strong technical depth across backend, web, mobile, databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to own system architecture and make technical decisions independently.
• Experience leading developers, conducting code reviews, and maintaining engineering standards.
• Strong ownership, communication, collaboration, and execution skills.

We need a hands-on technical leader who can take complete ownership of product engineeringfrom understanding business requirements and defining system architecture to designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining production applications.

The candidate must have real, demonstrable end-to-end development experience from scratch, not just experience implementing assigned features within an existing system.

The ideal candidate will lead the engineering of scalable web and mobile products, make independent architectural decisions, solve complex technical challenges, and to integrate advanced AI capabilities where required.

Role focus: Full-stack engineering, system architecture, and end-to-end product development. Specialized AI/ML model development is required.
