Lead Full-stack Engineer

  • Lead technical direction for a small, fully remote team of four developers, dedicating significant time to hands-on coding and development
  • Act as the primary bridge between product strategy and technical execution
  • Translate product requirements, user stories, and UX/UI designs into clear technical tasks and specifications
  • Guide architectural decisions and design solutions for web and mobile applications
  • Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code across the full stack (e.g. .NET, React, Mobile)
  • Provide direct technical mentorship and leadership to remote developers
  • Collaborate with product owners to refine requirements, assess feasibility, and align technical initiatives with business goals
  • Resolve ambiguities and manage technical dependencies
  • Ensure timely delivery of robust, scalable solutions
  • 8+ years of software development experience
  • 2+ years of technical leadership or mentoring experience, guiding teams on architecture and design best practices
  • Hands-on experience, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality, full-stack applications
  • Experience with .NET
  • Experience with native or cross-platform mobile development (e.g., iOS, Android)
  • Experience with web development (e.g., React, Next.js)
  • Experience with AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB)
  • Ability to translate complex product requirements into actionable technical plans in small team settings
  • Ability to collaborate across Product, QA, UX/UI, and Engineering to deliver integrated solutions
  • Ability to mentor engineers, establish best practices, and foster high code quality and continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
  • Startup experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
