The Opportunity
TrackrIO is an intelligent pool service management platform built for modern pool
professionals. As part of Fluidra’s global digital portfolio — a €2.2B global leader in pool
and wellness solutions — we are transforming how pool service companies operate,
from scheduling and invoicing to route optimization and customer experience.
With our US launch underway and European expansion planned, we are strengthening
our engineering team in Pune.
We are looking for a Lead Engineer who combines strong hands-on development
expertise with the ability to guide and mentor engineers. This is not a pure management
role — it is a hands-on position focused on building, problem-solving, and driving high-
quality technical execution.

What You’ll Own
Hands-on Development
 Actively contribute to development across the stack — mobile (React Native),
web (React/Next.js), backend (Laravel/PHP)
 Multi-tenant SaaS with route-optimization, scheduling, dispatch, and BLE-
connected hardware on mobile. Bleeding-edge client stack (Next 16, React 19,
MUI 9, RN 0.85 + New Architecture).
 “Expected split: ~70% hands-on coding, ~30% code review, mentorship, and
technical direction.”
 Write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
 Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices
Technical Contribution & Guidance
 Collaborate with architects and senior engineers on system design and technical
decisions
 Provide input on architecture, performance optimization, and scalability
 Support implementation of coding standards, testing practices, and quality
benchmarks
Agile Execution
 Work within a structured Agile/Scrum environment
 Contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and timely delivery of features
 Proactively identify and resolve blockers
Cross-Functional Collaboration
 Work closely with product, design, and global engineering teams across the US,
Australia, and Europe
 Communicate effectively across time zones with clarity and accountability
Platform Development
 Contribute to development of:
o React Native mobile applications (iOS & Android)
o React/Next.js web platform

o Laravel/PHP backend services
o Integrations (QuickBooks, Xero, Stripe, etc.)

Mentorship
 Support and mentor junior and mid-level engineers
 Promote best practices in coding, debugging, and system design

What We’re Looking For
Experience
 10+ years of software development experience
 “8+ years; demonstrable system-design and zero-downtime migration
experience”
 Strong hands-on experience in modern frontend and/or mobile technologies
 Experience working in Agile development environments
 Exposure to SaaS product development
Technical Skills
 React Native and React/Next.js AND PHP (hands-on experience required)
 Experience with “Realtime via Pusher / Laravel Echo.
 “Multi-tenant data isolation; queued-job reliability (retries, backoff, dead-letter /
reconciliation); zero-downtime DB migrations (expand / contract).”
 “Pragmatic AI-augmented engineering (Copilot / Cursor) without over-
reliance.”
 TypeScript and modern frontend architecture
 State management (Redux Toolkit or equivalent)
 Backend exposure to Laravel/PHP and REST APIs, “Realtime via Pusher /
Laravel Echo.”
 Database knowledge: MySQL, Redis
 “AWS hands-on — EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch. SQS / Lambda / Secrets
Manager preferred.”

 “i18n exposure (i18next or equivalent) — operational for AU/US/EU
expansion.”
 Experience with third-party integrations and API-driven development
 Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
Preferred
 Experience with mobile-first or offline-first applications
 Familiarity with Firebase tools (Crashlytics, Analytics, etc.)
 Exposure to performance optimization and debugging complex systems
 Experience working with global/distributed teams
