Lead Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment and Placement)
Joining the Secret Service, Office of Human Resources, APT Talent Management Division will allow you to play an essential role leading a team of professionals conducting full lifecycle recruitment and placement functions in an operational environment. The selectee will serve as a Lead Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment and Placement) in the Office of Human Resources, APT Talent Management Division. Typical work assignments include: Serving as the team lead in providing consultative and advisory services in staffing and recruitment/placement program activities with responsibility for ensuring the optimum use of manpower resources in accordance with federal regulations, standards, directive, policies and precedents. Leading and communicating to the team the assignments by identifying, distributing and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow, skill level and/or occupational specialization; making adjustments to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities to ensure timely accomplishment of assigned team tasks and milestones. Serving as the expert and conducts audit evaluations and Quality Assurance review on staffing and recruitment/placement functions through review of regular/recurring reports; inspection of required documents; review of known or suspected problems areas; and contacts with stakeholders and their feedback on issues and concerns. Making recommendations for and assisting with the implementation of staffing and recruitment/placement programs administrative policies and procedures as they apply to development, operations of human resources programs and special projects for the agency to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of human resources functions, operations and systems.
