Lead Infrastructure Engineer, Storage

Requirements:

• Active UK SC security clearance
• Strong hands-on enterprise storage administration experience
• Experience managing SAN/NAS environments, including provisioning, troubleshooting and migrations
• Practical experience with Dell EMC storage technologies, including Isilon, VPLEX, Unity and VxRail
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
• Knowledge of storage networking, Fibre Channel and Cisco MDS
• Experience working within ITIL-controlled enterprise environments
• Exposure to Pure Storage, Commvault or Cohesity is advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Manage, configure and support enterprise SAN and NAS storage environments
• Monitor storage capacity, performance, availability and replication
• Support storage provisioning, migrations and infrastructure upgrades
• Troubleshoot storage connectivity, hardware and performance issues
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate routine administration and reporting
• Support Fibre Channel storage networking and associated infrastructure
• Work with infrastructure, networking and service delivery teams to resolve technical issues
• Maintain technical documentation and follow established change management processes

We are seeking a technically strong Lead Infrastructure Engineer to support a major enterprise technology environment in London. This is a hands-on contract role for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure issues and collaborating with technical teams to maintain performance, resilience and availability. The position is based in London, with hybrid working requiring 2–3 days onsite per week. It is a six-month contract paying up to £475 per day.
