Job Posting: Lead Furniture Installer
This position is the backbone of our organization and integral to our success. Our Lead Installers are responsible for traveling to job sites to lead our installation teams, ensure timely completion, provide high quality of service, assist with furniture installation, and troubleshoot problems as needed.

Key Accountabilities
- Complete all technical installation operations well, including: wall strips, field measuring, in-line step down modifications, product repairs, simple field cuts and product modifications, etc.
- Review all paperwork prior to loading for install
- Delivers all work with consistency and accuracy:
- Understands and follows through with consistent and accurate paperwork
- Accurate time entry
- Client sign-offs, punch list items, change orders, product return forms, etc.
- Communicates project status to sales, sales support and project managers.
- Issues or problems, and punch items
- End of day progress or completion photos from site with a daily summary via company software
- Make on the spot problem solving decisions to react to varying project/field conditions, or changes in the scope of work. Discusses solutions with project manager or operations manager.
- Train installers and give guidance/instruction to contract labor
- High level of attention to detail; follows up by checking work of installation team to make sure it’s of the highest quality.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma/GED
- Must have a valid Ohio Driver's License
- Able to drive 16’ up to 26’ box trucks - company provides medical card
- 1-3 years’ experience in installation preferred
- Skilled at working with power tools and other tools
- Working knowledge of construction and electricity, able to read floor plans, or able to learn to read floor plan
- Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the work shift.
- Must be able to push, pull, lift or carry 50 - 100 lbs
- Experience giving direction or leading small teams preferred
- Possesses, or can develop product knowledgeable across all major lines of furniture carried by the dealer
- Has strong oral and written communication skills
- Has strong work ethic and very ethical approach to the business; is punctual and self-motivated
