LEAD INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a LEAD INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTORATE of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

You will advise on ways to improve the efficiency of distribution and storage operations.

You will develop functional guidance for systems revisions and special automation projects specific to inventory management and related systems.

You will collaborate with supply sources to obtain status on supply transactions.

You will use automated information systems to transfer data requirements.

You will advise on alternative approaches for shipment of materials or components to solve customer issues.

You will direct item distribution to storage locations, field supply support activities and customers based on priority, delivery schedules and other requirements.

You will extract information from databases to respond to questions and provide inventory status.
