Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Mentoring and managing Java team (8‑15 people)
• Preparing functional specifications
• Forming project plans and updating progress throughout the software development lifecycle
• Advising ways and means to obtain performance metrics of applications and optimize applications
• Software development (20% of your time)

Qualifications

Requirements:

• At least 8+ years of experience in developing advanced solutions in commercial projects
• Experience in a similar role
• Experience in managing a team
• Important technical skills:
• Java 11 and its internals
• Spring & Hibernate
• Unit and integration testing
• RDBMS and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, InfluxDB, etc.)
• Good practices and architectural patterns (SOLID, Go4, DDD, CQRS, Clean Architecture, etc.)
• Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Leadership
• Focus on values and business goals
• Ability to persuade and influence
• Fast adaptability to changing requirements of the team and business needs
• Very good work organization
• Self‑reliance
