Lead Java Developer - Local Malaysia Candidates Only (No Visa Sponsorship)

Salary: RM 10.000 – RM 13.000 per month

About the role

Arbeit Group is currently looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer to join a high-impact enterprise technology team. As a hands-on technical leader with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS Cloud, and Microservices Architecture, you will work on large-scale, mission-critical applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot

• Architect and develop scalable RESTful APIs and Microservices

• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions

• Drive best practices in software engineering, code quality, and system design

• Support cloud architecture and deployment using AWS services

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across projects

About you

• 12+ years of hands-on experience in Java development

• Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot

• 6+ years of experience building and supporting REST APIs

• 7+ years of experience with AWS Cloud Services, including ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS

• Strong experience with CI/CD Pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Microservices Architecture, and Enterprise Application Development

• Experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Senior Developer, or Technical Lead

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Legally eligible to work in Malaysia
