Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Principal Backend Engineer with 8-10 years of hands‑on experience in building scalable, high‑performance backend systems using Java and Python.

This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, focusing on designing robust architectures, mentoring teams, and ensuring system reliability at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• -Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices architectures
• -Lead system architecture decisions and ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability
• -Build and optimize distributed systems handling large-scale workloads Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems
• -Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and cross‑functional teams
• -Mentor and guide junior/mid-level engineers; conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
• -Drive CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automation to improve delivery cycles
• -Monitor, debug, and optimize backend systems for performance and availability
• -Define technical standards, architecture patterns, and development processes

Required Skills:

• -QualificationsBachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science or related field
• -8+ years of backend development experience
• -Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask)
• -Expertise in microservices architecture and distributed systems
• -Experience with REST APIs, system design, and backend scalability
• -Strong knowledge of SQL amp; NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• -Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• -Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• -Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns

Good to Have:

• -Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
• -Exposure to high-concurrency amp; real-time applications
• -Knowledge of security best practices and API authentication (OAuth, JWT)
• -Experience with AI/ML or data pipeline integration
