About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lead Key Account Manager to support the Payments team in managing relationships with payment service providers, banks, EMIs, and other financial partners.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day communication with partners, negotiating commercial terms, coordinating onboarding processes, and ensuring the stability and growth of the payment infrastructure.
You Have
- 5+ years of experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Business Development Manager, or Partnership Manager.
- Experience in Payments (priority), Fintech, Forex, Banking, iGaming, or related industries.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Experience communicating with PSPs, banks, and payment providers.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, data analysis, reporting, and working with large datasets.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with PSPs, banks, payment gateways, and other financial partners.
- Act as the main point of contact for payment providers.
- Negotiate commercial terms, fees, reserves, settlement conditions, and SLAs.
- Coordinate partner onboarding, KYB, compliance reviews, and contract execution.
- Follow up on pending requests and drive projects to completion.
- Escalate operational issues and service disruptions with providers.
- Monitor payment method performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the launch of new payment methods, GEOs, and processing channels.
- Work closely with Payments, Compliance, Finance, Product, and Legal teams.
- Maintain accurate records of partner communications and commercial agreements.
- Prepare regular reports on partner performance, issues, and ongoing initiatives.
Good to have
- Experience working with payment methods in Africa, Asia, LATAM, or emerging markets.
- Knowledge of card acquiring, bank transfers, local payment methods, crypto, and alternative payment solutions.
- Understanding of KYB, AML, compliance, and merchant onboarding processes.
