Stalford Education Group is expanding its academic portfolio with the introduction of the MSc Accounting and Financial Management programme.
We are seeking experienced Lead Lecturers / Senior Lecturers with strong academic and professional expertise in accounting, finance, and financial management to support the delivery of this postgraduate programme.
Role Overview
The Lead Lecturer / Senior Lecturer will deliver postgraduate teaching in accounting and finance and support the academic management of the MSc programme.
The role includes teaching, academic coordination, student mentoring, and ensuring compliance with international university programme standards.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Academic Delivery
Deliver lectures, tutorials, and seminars in accounting and finance modules.
Facilitate learning through case studies, financial analysis, and applied business scenarios.
Develop and update teaching materials aligned with programme requirements.
Guide students in coursework, research projects, and examination preparation.
Programme Leadership (Lead Lecturer role)
Coordinate module delivery and teaching schedules.
Ensure teaching quality and academic consistency.
Provide mentorship to lecturers and adjunct faculty.
Academic Quality Assurance
Maintain compliance with academic regulations and programme standards.
Participate in assessment moderation and programme review activities.
Support continuous improvement of the programme.
Student Engagement
Provide academic advising and consultation to postgraduate students.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.
Requirements
Academic Qualifications
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or related field.
Professional certification (such as ACCA, CPA, CA) is highly desirable.
Doctorate (PhD or DBA) preferred for Lead Lecturer appointments.
Teaching Experience
Minimum 5 years of tertiary-level teaching experience in accounting or finance.
Experience delivering postgraduate accounting or finance programmes preferred.

Candidates should demonstrate expertise in areas such as:

Corporate Finance
Financial Management
Risk Management
Financial Markets and Institutions
Management Accounting
Investment and Portfolio Management
Skills
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
Experience with financial modelling tools and data analysis software is an advantage.
Excellent communication and teaching skills.
Preferred Attributes
Professional accounting or finance industry experience.
Experience teaching internationally recognised accounting or finance programmes.
