Become a Lead Medication Technician and Make a Difference!

Do you have a passion for helping others and a keen eye for detail? We're looking for a dedicated Lead Medication Technician to join our compassionate team. As a vital part of our community, you'll play a direct role in the well-being of our residents.

What You'll Do:

In this role, you'll assist residents with their daily medication needs and other activities of daily living (ADLs), all under the supervision of a licensed Administrator.

  • Medication Management: Assist residents in taking their medications, maintain an organized and clean medication cart, and coordinate with pharmacies and physicians to ensure prescriptions are filled and up-to-date.
  • Health Monitoring: Take and record residents’ vital signs, assist with blood glucose checks and insulin administration, and document all activities and medications accurately.
  • Resident Care: Partner with caregivers and kitchen staff to provide hands-on assistance with ADLs like grooming, bathing, dressing, and ambulation. You'll use your skills to create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment that feels like home.
  • Team Leadership (for Lead Med Techs): If you're a Lead Med Tech, you'll have the opportunity to mentor new team members, assist with scheduling, and represent facility leadership when needed.

What We're Looking For:

We want someone who is reliable, compassionate, and ready to make a positive impact.

  • Experience & Certifications: You must be at least 18 (or 17 with a C.N.A. certificate). A First Aid, CPR, and medication assistance certificate (or state equivalent) is required.
  • Knowledge & Skills: You should have a solid understanding of medications, drug reactions, and safe medication assistance practices. The ability to work with diverse populations, handle emergency situations calmly, and maintain confidentiality is essential.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted.

This is more than just a job; it's a chance to build meaningful relationships and truly enhance the quality of life for our residents. If you're ready to bring your skills and heart to a supportive team, we encourage you to apply!
