LEAD MILITARY PAY TECHNICIAN

Serve as Work Leader by identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks to team members in accordance with established workflow.

Report to the supervisor on team and individual work accomplishments, problems, and progress in mastering tasks and work processes.

Answer team member’s questions concerning work processes and procedures, policies and directives.

Identify and act on computer system/program problems involving the DJMS-AC and DJMS-RC garnishment, bankruptcy, and tax levy (GBT) system.

Answer all types of technical and complex correspondence and inquiries concerning active/reserve military pay that is being garnished by state courts and federal tax levies, or disbursed for reasons concerning a bankruptcy.
