Lead Network Architect (m/f/n)

We are currently looking for a Lead Network Architect / Technical Lead to join our growing team in Strasbourg and contribute to a strategic Public Sector project for a major European Union organisation. In this role, you will lead the design and governance of large-scale, highly secure and highly available network infrastructures supporting critical digital services and cross-border communication. You will be responsible for defining network architecture standards, driving key technical decisions, overseeing complex integration initiatives, and supporting the resolution of advanced network challenges. Working closely with architects, engineers and stakeholders across Europe, you will play a key role in the evolution of a mission-critical enterprise network environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead network architecture, design activities, and technical governance across large-scale integration and infrastructure projects.
• Define and maintain network architecture standards, best practices, and technical guidelines.
• Provide expert-level support for complex network troubleshooting and technical escalations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of secure and highly available network solutions.
• Review and validate network designs, technical documentation, and implementation plans.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and evolution of enterprise network infrastructure.

Knowledge and skills:

• Bachelor Degree in IT and at least 10 years' experience.
• Cisco ACI.
• Cisco SD-WAN.
• BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN.
• High Availability architectures.
• Network design documentation.

Formal requirements:

• Willingness to obtain an EU Secret security clearance by the start of the project is required.
• EU citizenship required.
• English at C1 level, plus any additional European language, would be welcome.

Preferred Certifications:

• CCNP Enterprise.
• CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure.
• Cisco ACI Specialist.
