Overview
About the role
With a focus on cloud security and efficient network services, Softtestpays client are looking for applicants who have experience in one or more of the following fields:
- Network engineering, integration, deployment, administration and support experience in enterprise Data Centre, LAN, WAN or Wireless environments
- VPNs, SSL, Load Balancing, Routing and/or GSLB
- DHCP and DNS
- Reverse and forward proxies
- Security and monitoring tools
- Cloud networking
- Scripting/automation
- Microsoft administration
Qualifications and Experience:
- Demonstrated hands on experience in Network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security:
- Internal systems, cloud and network infrastructure
- Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SharePoint
- Virtualization technologies: VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft
- Remote access solution support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix
- Remote monitoring and management of system alerts
- 8 years enterprise experience
- Considerable knowledge of enterprise networks and data centres
- Experience in implementing, managing and troubleshooting Cisco based networks
- Experience with Cisco Firewalls
- Experience with Cisco Unified Wireless
- Experience with WAN acceleration/ optimisation services
- Experience with network management systems
- Experience with MS and Solaris (or Linux) based communication systems (DNS, Proxies, VPN, access systems)
- Previous exposure with converged networks carrying VoIP and VC
- High levels of verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate wider technical teams.
