Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to lead and oversee the design, installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of network systems and infrastructure. The role involves ensuring network performance, reliability, and security while maintaining compliance with project specifications, technical standards, and cybersecurity requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network systems and infrastructure.
- Manage and oversee LAN, WAN, fiber optic networks, switches, routers, firewalls, and related network components.
- Coordinate with Engineering, IT, ELV, Construction, and Testing & Commissioning teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure the quality of network installations and compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and codes.
- Review network drawings, technical specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor network performance, connectivity, and system reliability, identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and communication-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements, project specifications, and relevant technical standards.
- Supervise network installation, testing, commissioning, and system integration activities.
- Manage technical documentation, testing records, and as-built drawings.
- Lead and supervise the network team while coordinating with clients, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
