KBR is looking for a Lead, Onshore Commissioning (Sales Gas & Condensate) with onshore site experience in MEGA EPC projects to be based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project.

Experience required:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering is a must. Having a minimum of twenty years of relevant experience in the commissioning / operation readiness position with experience in the GCC region as preference.

Must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position in oil & gas or petrochemical projects with preference for commissioning sour gas, hydrogen production, and hydro-desulfurization projects.

The sales gas & condensate commissioning lead shall provide guidance to his commissioning team, EPC contractor, and sub-contractors within his area of responsibility.

  • Coordinate with licensors and vendors to ensure close monitoring of commissioning activities are within licensors’ and vendors’ guiding procedures.
  • Responsible for the progress of commissioning activities of sales gas and condensate area.
  • Review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
  • Provide the required advice and support for the senior commissioning manager.
  • Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC contractor or vendors.
  • Verify mechanical completion certificates requirements for various systems and subsystems.
  • Participate in commissioning meetings and other related meetings.
  • Participate in troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning obstacles.
  • Verify the readiness of systems/subsystems for mechanical completion and ready for start-up certificates issuance.
  • Monitor and approve the close out of punch lists in his area.
  • Ensure completion and handover methodology is proceeding in compliance with related contractual documents.
