Lead Penetration Tester

Salary: $140.00 - $170.00 p/hr inc. Super + weekly pays

• Must have Negative Vetting Level 1
• Hybrid working arrangements/2 days WFH
• Experience in Red Team Operations

Our client, a Commonwealth Government organisation whose focus is to provide support to Australian's living with disability, require the services of a Lead Penetration Tester (EL1 equivalent).

Duties of the Lead Penetration Tester:

• Performing penetration testing of Mobile and Web applications and IT infrastructure;
• Validating reported vulnerabilities, recommending appropriate mitigating strategies and coordinating the follow up with relevant team members;
• Work with Cyber Security teams and product owners to seek alignment between information security and business objectives;
• Work with the identity & access management team.

Skills required

• Demonstrated experience with offensive security and penetration testing across diverse platforms and technologies, including Mobile Apps, Web Applications, APIs, Kubernetes, Cloud environments, Networks, and Wireless infrastructures;
• Experience in Red Team Operations, conducting adversary emulation exercises;
• Ability to write tools and exploits in one or more languages such as Python, C, Golang, and scripting languages;
• GMOB/OSCE/OSCP/GWAPT/GXPN certification is a distinctive plus (any of those);
• Desirable: Understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure automated testing requirements.
