Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the porter team to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Act as the primary dispatcher for vehicle movement, ensuring a consistent flow of vehicles being moved to their next locations throughout the reconditioning process.
- Monitor vehicle locations to ensure vehicles are moved to their next designated location in a timely manner.
- Communicate directly with the Reconditioning Manager regarding vehicle movement delays, scheduling conflicts, missing vehicles, or other issues affecting workflow.
- Monitor the completion of assigned porter duties and follow up on outstanding tasks.
- Serve as a point of contact for porter related questions , assignments, and workflow concerns alongside Reconditioning Manager.
- Identify inefficiencies in vehicle movement and communicate opportunities for improvement to the Reconditioning Manager.
- Assist with daily workload planning and adjust porter assignments as priorities change.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability and willingness to operate vehicles of all makes, models, and sizes.
- Ability to safely maneuver vehicles in tight spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn photo uploading software.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to enter and exit vehicles repeatedly throughout the day.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
