This is a Lead Individual Contributor opportunity focused on shaping the next generation of creator and no-code product experiences.
You’ll lead design strategy and execution for tools that enable businesses to create websites, funnels, landing pages, emails, forms, templates, and AI-assisted experiences.
The role combines exceptional visual and interaction design craft with strong product thinking, systems thinking, and customer empathy.
You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and other cross-functional teams to turn complex workflows into intuitive, powerful experiences.
Your influence will extend beyond individual features, helping establish design direction, raise quality standards, and strengthen reusable product patterns.
You’ll also mentor designers and contribute to a craft-focused culture while remaining deeply hands-on in the work.
This is a fully remote role suited to an experienced designer who thrives on autonomy, ambiguity, collaboration, and delivering polished products at scale.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead design strategy and execution for Builder experiences, taking projects from discovery and problem framing through delivery and iteration.
  • Translate customer needs, business objectives, product strategy, and technical constraints into clear experience direction for complex creator workflows.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to define product vision, prioritize opportunities, and align teams around high-quality outcomes.
  • Design and refine sophisticated editing experiences, including visual canvases, controls, templates, responsive layouts, previews, publishing states, and AI-assisted creation workflows.
  • Apply exceptional visual and interaction design craft across hierarchy, layout, typography, grids, spacing, motion, accessibility, usability, and overall product quality.
  • Influence senior stakeholders through customer insights, data synthesis, product judgment, storytelling, and well-reasoned design recommendations.
  • Lead design quality reviews and establish standards for usability, accessibility, interaction quality, visual consistency, and design-system alignment.
  • Mentor designers, strengthen critique and design practices, and help multiple teams adopt scalable patterns and higher-quality standards.
  • Lead complex discovery initiatives in ambiguous environments by synthesizing research and inputs, framing problems, clarifying decisions, and helping teams move forward.
  • Advocate for accessible, inclusive, and ethical product experiences while balancing speed, scalability, detail, and quality.
  • Requirements:

    • 7+ years of relevant product design experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership, mentorship, or design-direction capacity.
    • Experience with creator tools, WYSIWYG editors, drag-and-drop interfaces, no-code builders, SaaS, B2B, platforms, or workflow-heavy products is highly valuable.
    • An exceptional portfolio demonstrating systematic thinking, customer empathy, outstanding design craft, measurable product impact, and leadership beyond individual execution. Portfolio submission is required.
    • Proven ability to lead product design across the full lifecycle, including research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, content strategy, and usability testing.
    • Exceptional visual and interaction design skills, with strong attention to hierarchy, typography, grids, spacing, motion, usability, accessibility, and product quality.
    • Experience designing visual creation workflows such as drag-and-drop editing, page or email composition, responsive controls, asset management, templates, previews, publishing flows, or versioning.
    • Experience designing AI-powered or intelligent interfaces, including AI-assisted creation, recommendations, automation, or guided editing experiences.
    • Mandatory experience using AI-powered tools for exploration, prototyping, critique, synthesis, or workflow acceleration.
    • Deep knowledge of design systems, accessibility standards, reusable patterns, and scalable product experience decisions.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence design direction across high-impact product areas, systems, platforms, or product pillars rather than only individual features.
    • Strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, Data, Customer Success, stakeholders, and fellow designers.
    • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts, lead critiques and workshops, and influence decisions through evidence and design rationale.
    • A customer-focused mindset, strong ownership, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to build trust through clear communication, candor, accountability, and respect.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively across US and India time zones and diverse cultural environments.
    • Benefits:

      • 100% remote work environment.
      • High autonomy and the opportunity to shape important creator and digital experience products.
      • Meaningful exposure to Product, Engineering, Data, Design, and senior leadership.
      • Opportunity to influence the future of visual editing, templates, publishing, and AI-assisted creation.
      • Craft-focused design culture with opportunities to mentor designers and strengthen design practices.
      • Collaborative environment that values clarity, speed, experimentation, product quality, and customer outcomes.
      • Opportunity to work on products serving a large global customer base and complex, high-scale digital workflows.
      • Supportive culture emphasizing accessibility, inclusion, ethical product design, and respect across diverse teams.
