Overview
Mastercard's Technology Strategy and Operations organization is seeking a Lead Product Manager– Technical to support the evolution of COSI, Mastercard's technology cost transparency and investment management platform. COSI provides leaders with a consistent, data-driven view of technology investments, capacity, operational costs, and product performance to support strategic decision-making across the organization.

In this role, you will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Business stakeholders to define requirements, manage priorities, and deliver new capabilities that improve visibility into technology investments, operational efficiency, and product performance. You will help drive execution across key initiatives and product roadmap expansion.

This is a hybrid position based in New York City, NY requiring three days per week onsite.

Role
- Partner with Product leadership to execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the COSI platform, ensuring alignment with Mastercard's broader Technology Strategy and Operations objectives.
- Own product discovery, requirements gathering, backlog management, and feature prioritization across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Translate complex business, financial, and operational requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans.
- Drive the definition and delivery of product capabilities related to technology cost transparency, capacity management, financial reporting, and operational analytics.
- Partner closely with Engineering teams to refine requirements, manage dependencies, remove blockers, and ensure successful execution.
- Collaborate with Finance and Customer Success stakeholders to understand allocation methodologies, reporting needs, reconciliation processes, and evolving business priorities.
- Monitor product performance, platform health, adoption metrics, and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support roadmap planning activities, including initiative sizing, prioritization, dependency management, and release readiness.
- Facilitate stakeholder reviews, demonstrations, testing activities, and post-release retrospectives.
- Promote agile product management best practices, ensuring high-quality requirements and predictable delivery outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement of product processes, documentation standards, governance practices, and product operating models.
- Serve as a trusted partner across Product, Finance, Engineering, and Operations teams to align business objectives with technical execution.

All About You
- Experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, Technical Program Management, or related roles within enterprise technology organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to convert business objectives and stakeholder needs into actionable product requirements and engineering-ready backlogs.
- Strong experience partnering with Engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Experience working with enterprise platforms, financial systems, reporting solutions, analytics products, or internal business applications.
- Solid understanding of system integrations, data flows, APIs, and enterprise architecture concepts.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, product road mapping, backlog management, and release planning.
- Familiarity with financial planning, allocation methodologies, technology investment reporting, or cost management concepts is a strong plus.
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Domo, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Experience working with Jira, Aha!, Confluence, or equivalent product management tooling is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay Ranges

New York City, New York: $156,000 - $265,000 USD
