About the Role:
UKG is looking for a Lead Product Manager to help define and deliver the future of Dynamic Workforce Operations within the Pro Workforce Management product suite. This individual contributor role will own key product areas that help customers continuously optimize labor by identifying workforce issues, prioritizing opportunities, and recommending actions as business conditions change.

The role spans operational intelligence, workforce optimization, and AI-enabled experiences that help frontline leaders move from insight to action. You will partner closely with customers, engineering, design, services, support, and go-to-market teams to shape product strategy, define solutions, and deliver measurable customer and business outcomes.

The ideal candidate has strong enterprise SaaS product management experience, a deep understanding of workforce management and operational workflows, and experience applying data, analytics, AI/ML, or optimization to complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Own product strategy and roadmap for assigned areas within Dynamic Workforce Operations, aligning priorities with customer needs, business objectives, market opportunities, and the long-term vision for intelligent, increasingly autonomous workforce operations.
• Lead customer and market discovery by synthesizing customer research, usage data, field feedback, support trends, and competitive insights into clear problem statements, product opportunities, and measurable outcomes.
• Serve as a domain leader in workforce operations, with a strong understanding of how organizations manage labor, respond to changing business conditions, and make operational workforce decisions.
• Define and deliver product solutions by translating strategy and discovery insights into requirements, workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release-ready product decisions for agile development teams.
• Drive cross-functional execution and alignment by partnering with engineering, UX, architecture, QA, product marketing, services, support, sales, and leadership to communicate priorities, manage tradeoffs, and support successful delivery and adoption.
• Use data to measure and improve outcomes including adoption, engagement, labor efficiency, manager effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and business impact.
• Advance AI/ML and agentic workforce experiences that proactively identify issues and opportunities, deliver intelligent recommendations, support decision-making, and increasingly automate workforce actions.

Required Qualifications:
• 6+ years of progressive product management experience, including ownership of product areas or major product initiatives in a SaaS environment.
• Experience with workforce management, workforce optimization, workforce operations, labor management, operational intelligence, or a closely related domain.
• Demonstrated success delivering enterprise SaaS products from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Strong product management skills, including customer discovery, roadmap ownership, prioritization, requirements definition, agile delivery, and outcome measurement.
• Ability to translate complex operational and customer problems into clear product requirements and practical SaaS solutions.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience using data, customer research, usage insights, and business cases to inform product decisions.
• Experience with AI/ML-enabled product capabilities, including a working understanding of predictive analytics, recommendation systems, model outputs, and the practical application of AI-driven insights within customer-facing workflows.
• Excellent communication and influence skills, with the ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships and present complex concepts clearly to technical, business, and leadership audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Workforce Management software, including scheduling, timekeeping, absence, labor optimization, analytics, or compliance workflows.
• Experience building products that support complex, real-time operational decision-making and workforce optimization.
• Experience in labor-intensive verticals such as retail, healthcare, manufacturing, services, distribution, hospitality, or public sector.
• Experience with AI/ML, optimization, predictive analytics, recommendation systems, intelligent workflows, product integrations, APIs, or data platforms.
• Experience translating complex data and operational signals into intelligent, actionable product experiences.
• Experience launching products or major capabilities for complex enterprise customers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Human Resources, Operations Management, or a related discipline is preferred but not required; equivalent practical experience is valued.
