Lead Project Data Controller | $80–$85/hr + Super
Brisbane | Hybrid | 12-Month Contract | Potential Permanent Opportunity

Northbridge Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lead Project Data Controller to join a major project environment, providing leadership, governance and oversight of Project Data Management (PDM) activities across APAC projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to lead information management practices, drive compliance and support the successful delivery of complex capital projects.

The Opportunity

• $80–$85 per hour + superannuation
• Brisbane-based, minimum 3 days per week in the office
• Initial 12-month contract with potential for permanent conversion
• Work across major projects within the APAC region

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Project Data Management governance, compliance and assurance across multiple projects.
• Oversee document control processes, information quality and project data integrity.
• Manage and support PDM and document control teams.
• Provide governance and oversight of EPCMs, contractors and engineering service providers.
• Establish and optimise information management systems, workflows and reporting.
• Ensure accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including handover and close-out.
• Drive continuous improvement and resolve complex information management issues.

About You

• Extensive experience in Project Data Management, Information Management or Document Control within major capital projects.
• Proven experience leading PDM or document control teams.
• Strong understanding of project governance, compliance and information management standards.
• Experience working with EPCMs, engineering contractors and external service providers.
• Advanced experience with InEight Document or equivalent EDMS platforms.
• Exposure to SharePoint, ALIM or Power BI is advantageous.
• Background in mining, engineering, construction or major infrastructure projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership and problem-solving skills.
