Lead Provider – Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant | Full-Time | Mt. Pleasant, TX
Pay: $70/hour & up (Depending on Experience), plus up to $2,500 annually in lead bonuses
Schedule: Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts
8 AM–8 PM with rotating Saturdays, 8 AM–4 PM

What You'll Do
As a provider at HealthCARE Express, you'll care for patients of all ages, treating a wide variety of illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced urgent care environment. Your day will include evaluating patients, performing examinations and minor procedures, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications when appropriate.
As the Lead Provider, you'll also:
- Lead your clinic and help make the changes that improve patient care and clinic operations
- Run monthly staff meetings to make sure your team is happy, the culture stays positive, and any concerns reach the Medical Director or the right department head
- Hold your team accountable for following our protocols and SOPs so the clinic runs smoothly
- Join a weekly call with the other clinic leads and our Chief Culture Officer

What We're Looking For
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Texas license, or able to obtain one)
- Current national board certification and BLS
- Active DEA registration
- DOT/NRCME certification, or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire (we cover the cost)
- At least two years of experience in urgent care, family practice, or emergency medicine
- Leadership, supervisory, or charge experience preferred
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, making clinical decisions, and leading a team while keeping a compassionate, patient-first approach.
