Responsibilities
- Guide and coach a development team, set coding standards, and enforce best practices
- Build scalable, high-performing Python solutions without compromising code quality
- Architect and deploy cloud-based applications on platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Partner with DevOps engineers to build and sustain CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments such as Docker
- Create and refine database schemas, oversee database management, and uphold data integrity
- Supervise development activities within Agile/Scrum frameworks, rank priorities, and guarantee on-time delivery
- Engage effectively with stakeholders and clients, resolve disputes, and cultivate solid partnerships
- Direct the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from concept through deployment, ensuring quality outcomes
- Tackle intricate technical problems while keeping team efforts aligned with broader project goals
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of practical Python development experience
- Demonstrated leadership background of 1+ years overseeing teams or projects
- Strong foundation in a minimum of one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or comparable DevOps tools
- Skilled in handling and fine-tuning relational or non-relational databases
- Solid B2+ English proficiency in both written and spoken communication
- Familiarity with Agile principles and Scrum practices
- Thorough grasp of SDLC processes and methodologies
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities for effective communication and dispute resolution
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI frameworks, tools, or platforms
- Experience deploying or improving ML models
- Skilled in system architecture and design fundamentals
- Exposure to supporting sales efforts or client engagement activities
- Ability to build ETL pipelines or integrate complex data workflows
