Lead Python Developer

Client: pharmaceutical industry

Hourly Rate: up to 190 PLN + VAT

Location: Warsaw, Poland

Work arrangement: hybrid, 2-3 days at the office per week, full-time

For our client, one of the Global Pharmaceutical Company we realize a recruitment process on the position of Lead Python Developer.

Main Responsibilities:

• Cooperating with the new cross-functional team supported by PO, Statisticians and UX/UI Designers
• Performing a central role for shaping technical direction of the project + building the team and delivering a scalable product
• Technical activities in the role includes: development – especially in the early stages, writing production-grade code, guide architectural decisions and mentoring developers
• Furthermore, you will be responsible for design and building MVP architecture based on Python, AWS/Azure and Vue.js + ensuring high quality releases based on CI/CD pipelines
• Leading and mentoring a small developer’s team
• Collaborating with Statisticians to integrate complex mathematical models into the product
• Shaping a culture within the team which is to constant improvement, learning and experiment

An ideal Candidate profile:

• At least 10 years of experience as Software Developer with hands-on technical leadership role on the project
• Higher education level within Computer Science, Software Engineering or another similar field are preferred
• Expertise in Python as one of your top of the programming languages
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments based on AWS or Azure focusing on PaaS services and multi-layered architecture
• Having fullstack experience – being comfortable with JS framework such as Vue or similar
• Hands-on experience with leading a software development team and you are eager to mentor others
• Fluency in English both written and spoken – working within the global organization
