Lead Python Engineer

€500 - €600 per day

I am currently recruiting for a Lead Python Engineer to join a high-performing FinTech organisation based in Dublin City Centre. This role is hybrid 3-4 days per week with free breakfast & lunch daily.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will be responsible for driving the design and delivery of key platform initiatives while leading a small team engineers (50/50)

The Role

Lead the development and delivery of scalable Python based applications

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers

Drive engineering best practice, code quality and technical standards

Work closely with Product, Architecture and wider technology teams

Contribute hands-on to design, development and code reviews

Support the evolution of a modern cloud-based engineering environment

Requirements

Strong commercial experience developing software with Python

Previous experience leading or mentoring engineering teams

Experience designing and delivering scalable backend systems

Strong understanding of APIs, microservices and distributed architectures

Cloud experience (AWS)

Experience working within fast-paced Agile environments
