Team Leadership & Practice Development
Lead, coach, and develop a team of QA practitioners embedded across delivery teams, ensuring consistent application of QA standards, methodologies, and tools.
Facilitate individual growth conversations, set development goals, and provide ongoing feedback and mentorship across the team.
Drive a culture of quality ownership, continuous improvement, and shared accountability.
Onboard new QA team members; establish expectations, tools access, and delivery team integration from day one.
Build team capacity by identifying skill gaps and supporting professional development plans aligned to the QA leveling framework.
Partner with US-based QA Practice Leads to align standards, share tooling and methodology advances, and build a globally consistent QA capability that scales across the enterprise.

Test Strategy & Delivery Oversight
Review and advise on test plans, automation coverage, and quality approaches across delivery squads to ensure alignment, completeness, and risk-based prioritization.
Own overall quality posture across programs — escalate systemic risks, monitor defect trends, and drive corrective action when patterns emerge.
Ensure QA is engaged at the start of every initiative, upgrade, and release planning conversation — not informed after delivery is underway.
Facilitate cross-role test planning sessions; ensure acceptance criteria are testable, risk-informed, and linked to Jira Xray test cases before development begins.
Champion shift-left practices across teams\: proactive defect prevention through early requirements engagement, Behavior Driven Development, and risk surfacing during refinement.

Automation & Tooling
Guide delivery teams on scalable automation practices using the enterprise test automation framework (e.g. Playwright, Opkey).
Monitor automation coverage across teams; ensure automation is planned at project kickoff, not retrofitted at release.
Drive adoption of AI-assisted test creation approaches; track efficiency gains and share learnings with the broader QA practice.
Partner with development leads and DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and production health monitoring.

Agile & Delivery Integration
Coach QA team members on integrating quality into Agile delivery — sprint planning, refinement, daily standups, and retrospectives.
Resolve testing-related delivery blockers across the QA team; align teams to program cadence and sprint-level quality goals.
Ensure QA practitioners are included as full members of delivery teams — not downstream recipients of completed work.
Partner with Agile Practices leads to embed QA excellence into delivery team agreements and working norms.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
Share quality health reports with development leads, delivery leads, and practice managers on a regular cadence.
Communicate test readiness and quality risk clearly to program stakeholders before major release decisions.
Represent the QA practice in cross-functional forums; translate QA data into business impact language for non-technical audiences.
Contribute to QA practice visibility through participation knowledge sharing, community of practice events, and internal showcases.

Practice & Operations
Ensure QA work is tracked and visible in Jira — test plans, execution status, defect metrics, and automation coverage — for all active programs.
Contribute to the ongoing maturation of QA standards, tooling, and playbooks.
Partner on capacity planning, staffing needs, and resource allocation across programs.
Support pursuit efforts by articulating QA value, methodology, and quality outcomes when needed.
