Lead/Senior Firmware Engineer – BMC/Server Management (主任/資深韌體工程師 – BMC/伺服器管理)

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer specializing in Server Management Processors (BMC) to develop management firmware for sub-systems of the next-generation AI data center, including Power Supply Units (PSUs), Battery Backup Units (BBUs), and system-level management platforms.

Responsibilities

• BMC / Server Management Firmware developing and porting.
• Support security hardening, access control, and secure firmware update mechanisms with signed images.
• Work with hardware teams to bring up control boards, validate interfaces, and debug firmware/hardware interactions.
• Work closely with cloud, rack-level, or platform software teams (OEM/ODM partners) to support system orchestration and resolve compatibility, interoperability, and system integration issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in server management, firmware/software development.
• Hands-on experience with AST26xx, AST27xx, or similar BMC platform development.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, Linux, Yocto, and device driver development.
• Knowledge of cloud-platform management frameworks, OpenBMC, RESTful API design, or telemetry pipelines.
• Familiarity with Redfish, IPMI, PLDM, and DMTF management standards.
• Security knowledge (TLS, secure boot, key management) is a strong plus.
