Lead Shift Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing

Rotherham | £55,000 - £65,000 | 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights)

The Role:

• Find and fix the root cause of repeat breakdowns, planning long-term fixes instead of reacting to them
• Lead continuous improvement and planning, and check the quality of PPMs and engineering work
• Work alongside the shift supervisors and Maintenance Manager, and improve handovers between shifts
• Mostly off the tools, hands-on only for support or to investigate long-term issues

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong engineering background as a maintenance engineer, electrical or mechanical bias
• Experience in continuous improvement, planning or root cause analysis
• Heavy industry background advantageous
