Lead Site Reliability Engineer (Dynatrace)

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer / Observability Engineer with deep Dynatrace expertise.
• We need strong hands-on Dynatrace implementation and administration experience.
• We need experience designing and implementing observability and monitoring solutions end-to-end.
• We need a strong SRE and production engineering background.
• We need experience configuring instrumentation, metrics, alerting, and monitoring.
• We need understanding of technologies such as OneAgent, ActiveGate, distributed tracing, and application/infrastructure monitoring.
• We need experience troubleshooting complex production issues using observability tooling.
• We need cloud experience across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• We value exposure to CI/CD, automation, and modern software delivery.
• Kubernetes and containerisation experience is beneficial but not essential.
• We need the ability to operate as a technical lead/SME and support and mentor other engineers.

Responsibilities:

• We will join a sizeable engineering capability working across complex, large-scale environments.
• We will take a leading role in SRE and observability engineering.
• We will support implementation, configuration, and ongoing ownership of Dynatrace.
• We will lead the observability conversation from implementation through to production troubleshooting.
• We will work across complex production environments as a technical SME.

We are hiring for a major technology and platform engineering programme with flexibility around some of the wider cloud and platform technology stack for candidates with genuinely strong Dynatrace and SRE expertise. We are looking for someone who has personally implemented Dynatrace rather than simply consumed dashboards, and who can confidently lead observability engineering across implementation, configuration, and production troubleshooting. We will be joining a sizeable engineering capability working in complex, large-scale environments.
