About the Opportunity
I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a client, a fast-growing B2B SaaS HRTech company headquartered in Bangkok and backed by leading international venture capital investors.
The company is looking for a hands-on Lead Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join its engineering team and help build and scale a global SaaS product.
This is a technical leadership role, not a people-management position. You’ll remain hands-on with coding, architecture, technical problem-solving, and delivery while leading technical initiatives, reviewing code, and mentoring junior engineers.
We are particularly interested in candidates who fit one of these profiles:
Node.js Full Stack Engineer with strong JavaScript/TypeScript experience
Python + Vue.js Engineer with strong Django/FastAPI experience
Full Stack Engineer experienced across Node.js, Python, and Vue.js — an especially strong fit
What You'll Do
Lead and deliver complex technical projects and engineering initiatives
Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications across frontend and backend
Develop modern single-page applications (SPAs) and complex back-office systems
Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs
Work hands-on with Vue.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Develop backend services using Python/Django/FastAPI or Node.js/Express
Design robust technical solutions using sound software engineering principles and design patterns
Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
Conduct code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality
Refactor and modernize existing systems
Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge
Drive improvements in coding practices, architecture, and engineering processes
Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to define, build, and ship new features
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
4–6+ years of professional experience developing web applications with client-side frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript, including object-oriented programming
Experience delivering mid-to-large-scale projects, particularly SPAs or back-office applications
Strong backend development experience with either:
Node.js / Express, or
Python / Django / FastAPI combined with Vue.js
Strong understanding of REST API design and development
Experience with AWS
Strong experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL
Experience with web application performance optimization
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, architecture, and design patterns
Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring other engineers
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong Advantage
Professional experience across Node.js + Python + Vue.js
Experience with Django and/or FastAPI
Experience with AWS and Kubernetes
Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Redis
Experience with Celery, RabbitMQ, or similar distributed/background-processing technologies
Experience working in a SaaS or product company
Experience working in a startup or high-growth technology environment
