Lead Software Engineer — AVEVA PI

A Lead Software Engineer will work directly with our end user clients in implementing cutting edge data integration solutions primarily using the AVEVA PI platform amongst other leading data analytics platforms.

Responsibilities:
Works directly with customers to define functional requirements and design,configure, commission and qualify digital transformation platforms and data integration solutions. Define an AVEVA PI architecture from Automation level through AVEVA PI interfaces to Central PI Server and applications. Lead others performing AVEVA PI upgrades and migrations including into AWS/Azure and other cloud services. Provide sales and technical guidance by proposing detailed architectures and solutions for AVEVA PI focused projects.

Traits:
Ability to lead and train other engineers on AVEVA PI components including various applications and general architecture. Motivated self-starter who is quick to adapt and work with minimal supervision. Active and keen learner who keeps up to date with industry trends. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good interpersonal and presentation skills for presentation to clients/management team where necessary. Experience and/or interest in pharmaceutical & biologics GMP processes (e.g. computer systems validation).

Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in MES/Historian development & deployment.

Thorough understanding of automation and digital transformation solutions.Self-motivated, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with people.

Bachelor's in engineering or related fields.
