What you'll do
- Architect and manage reliable backend services and platform components.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and lead architectural decision-making.
- Enforce high engineering standards through code reviews, testing, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with mobile, web, data, and infrastructure departments to resolve system-wide challenges.
- Manage system health, perform root cause analysis, and handle incident responses.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure service uptime.
- Provide technical mentorship and coaching to junior engineers.
- Optimize developer productivity and internal engineering processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on backend production environments.
- Proficiency in Go or similar programming languages.
- Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and concurrency.
- Experience building and operating distributed systems at scale.
- Practical knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, Redis, and event-driven architectures.
- Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Experience working in Agile team structures.
