About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer with strong expertise in C#/.NET to take technical ownership of high-volume, distributed systems supporting critical processes.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining software architecture and development with technical guidance and mentoring of a small engineering team. You will work closely with global technology and operations teams to expand and modernize the platform, while contributing to its ongoing evolution towards Rust.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with proven technical leadership.
- Strong expertise in C#/.NET and distributed, service-oriented architectures.
- Good understanding of concurrent and high-performance programming.
- Experience designing scalable, resilient, and high-volume systems.
- Willingness and openness to working with Rust as part of the platform's ongoing technology evolution.
- Experience with AI-assisted software development and modern engineering practices.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, JIRA, or similar.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience mentoring developers or providing technical leadership.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience with Rust.
- Knowledge of AWS, Kafka, serverless, or cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with React or Angular.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures.
- Experience in financial markets
