Requirements
Must have:
- – We require a bachelors degree in a relevant discipline and at least 6 years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination such as a masters degree with 4 years of experience, a Ph.D. with 1 year of experience, or 18 years of related experience.
- – We need true full-stack capability across React and TypeScript for web, Flutter and Dart for mobile or cross-platform work, and Python or Node.js for backend development.
- – We require at least 2 years of hands‑on AWS serverless experience with Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, and EventBridge.
- – We expect proven experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and serverless deployment approaches.
- – We look for a track record of rapidly prototyping with AI and GenAI tools in a professional environment.

Responsibilities:
- We lead architectural and technical design decisions for features, services, and platforms.
- – We break down epics and features into implementation plans with clear ownership.
- – We review and approve technical designs, code changes, and pull requests.
- – We identify technical risks, dependencies, and trade-offs, and define mitigation plans.
- – We drive root‑cause analysis and resolution of complex production incidents.
- – We design, build, test, and deploy full‑stack applications across our web, mobile, and backend stack.
- – We develop and maintain scalable REST and GraphQL APIs using AWS API Gateway and Lambda.
- – We implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and blue‑green deployment strategies.
- – We ensure production readiness through observability, automated testing, and monitoring.
- – We lead design and delivery of event‑driven, serverless‑first solutions on AWS.
- – We rapidly prototype new product ideas using Claude, Amazon Bedrock, and other GenAI platforms.
- – We use AI‑assisted development tools to speed up code generation, testing, documentation, and code review.
- – We assess AI‑generated outputs for accuracy, security, and readiness for production.
- – We define team standards and best practices for adopting AI tools.
- – We serve as the technical anchor for a small, high‑velocity scrum team.
- – We coach engineers, drive accountability, and align technical direction with business goals.
- – We partner with Product Managers, Architects, and QA to support organizational objectives.
- – We mentor senior, mid‑level, and junior engineers on design, cloud practices, and AI tool usage.

We are hiring a Lead Software Engineer to serve as a hands‑on technical leader for one or more small, high‑velocity engineering teams. This is an advanced role above the Senior Software Engineer level, combining deep engineering expertise with an AI‑first mindset and rapid prototyping using modern GenAI tools. Our core stack spans React and TypeScript, Flutter and Dart, Python and Node.js, and AWS serverless architecture, including Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Cognito, AppSync, CloudWatch, X‑Ray, CDK, SAM, and CloudFormation. The base salary ranges from $122,600 to $204,400, with potential additional incentive compensation based on location, skills, and experience. We also offer flexible vacation, seven paid holidays, up to 160 hours of paid wellness time annually, and additional leave options including bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer time, military leave, and parental leave.
