Lead Software Engineer (Go)

We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer (Go) to join a team developing technically demanding solutions for a Silicon Valley-based technology company in the security space.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on Go development, system design and solving complex engineering problems. You will contribute to technical decisions, work closely with experienced engineers and help shape the growth of the engineering team.

• Several years of commercial software development experience with Go.
• Proven experience building complex, reliable and scalable systems.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, system design and distributed systems.
• Experience making independent technical decisions and taking ownership of technical solutions.
• Experience working with complex, established codebases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to engineering.
• Experience providing technical leadership or mentoring to other engineers.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with experienced engineers and technical stakeholders.
• High level of autonomy and accountability.
