Lead Software Engineer Java (Telecom exp)
We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Microservices and BSS/CPQ platforms. The role involves designing and developing scalable solutions across CRM, Product Catalogue, Order Management, CPQ and Billing integration.
Key responsibilities
Design and develop end-to-end software solutions across front-end and back-end systems
Lead technical design across BSS, CRM, CPQ and Order Management domains
Develop scalable microservices, REST APIs and integration services
Work on product modelling, pricing configuration and order orchestration
Integrate distributed systems and enterprise applications
Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security and architecture standards
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams while remaining hands-on
About you
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
6–10 years of experience in software/enterprise application development
Strong hands-on experience with Java; knowledge of Go, Python or TypeScript is an advantage
Strong experience in Microservices, REST APIs and distributed systems
Experience with BSS/OSS, CPQ, CRM, Order Management or Billing systems
Experience with zSmart BSS, zSmart CPQ or similar platforms is highly preferred
Good knowledge of Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL
Experience with Linux and Git
Hands-on experience with Kafka or other messaging/event-driven technologies
Strong problem-solving, communication and technical leadership skills
