Lead Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Purpose

At Talent Attraction & Sourcing (TAS) in Deutsche Telekom, we are transforming the way Telekom attracts, engages, and hires talent worldwide. As a Software Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the technical foundation of our global HR products and digital platforms. Working closely with Senior Software Architect, Product Managers, Software Developers, UX Designers, and Data Analysts, you will design scalable solutions that deliver outstanding user experiences and enable continuous innovation across the entire product lifecycle.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Define and evolve the architecture of software solutions, platforms, and integrations, ensuring scalability, security, and long-term maintainability.
• Design and evolve the architecture of our Talent Acquisition products
• Develop core platform and integration components
• Support engineering teams in architecture and technology decisions
• Design and implement AI- and LLM-based solutions
• Ensure scalability, quality, security, and compliance across systems
• Foster engineering excellence through mentoring, code reviews, and best practices

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• have experience in software architecture and building production-grade applications
• have strong knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, distributed systems, and CI/CD
• have hands-on experience delivering AI or LLM-based solutions into production
• have understanding of data privacy, compliance, and AI governance requirements
• AI / ML and practical use of AI in software engineering.
• have ability to communicate complex technical concepts, influence architectural decisions, and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• have ability to collaborate across teams and guide technical decision-making
• are fluent in English

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2000€ /brutto.
