Lead Software Engineer (Mobile Native)
You are a senior mobile engineer with 6+ years of experience building native iOS and Android apps using Swift, Kotlin, and/or React Native, with a proven track record of shipping commercial products end-to-end. You will lead by example, setting engineering standards, mentoring developers, and driving architecture decisions while staying close to the code. You thrive in cross-functional, globally distributed teams and know how to translate business goals into solid technical direction. Familiarity with gaming ecosystems or virtual currency platforms is a bonus, what's essential is your ability to own delivery and elevate the team around you.
Responsibilities
- Lead the mobile development, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support
- Define and implement best practices for mobile development processes, code review, and test strategies and CI/CD process standards
- Drive scalable and maintainable application architecture from scratch
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical solutions that meet business goals
- Ensure seamless integration of mini-apps and virtual currency systems with the Xsolla App ecosystem
- Work closely with global cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and project managers
- Partner with stakeholders to align technical strategies with business objectives
- Facilitate effective communication across globally distributed teams
- Oversee the entire development lifecycle, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality applications
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in mobile development with a strong focus on iOS and Android platforms
- Proven track record of delivering commercial mobile applications from concept to launch
- Experience leading and mentoring development teams
- Proficiency in mobile development frameworks and programming languages (Swift, Kotlin, Go, React Native)
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture platforms
- Experience with third-party integrations and APIs
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven approach
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with gaming ecosystems and virtual currency platforms is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
