Lead Software Engineer - Motors

Here is what you can expect from this role:

  • Draft, communicate, and execute architectural decisions focusing on scalability, sustainability, and adaptability.
  • Stay hands-on, contributing to the SDLC by developing, testing, and deploying high-quality artifacts.
  • Champion engineering best practices and a positive Developer Experience (DevEx) through continuous delivery.
  • Partner with product managers and owners to guide large-scale changes, refactors, and feature deliveries.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers to support their career progression and skill growth.
  • Define engineering guardrails and guidelines to manage delivery risks and ensure operability.
  • Manage technical debt, system operability, and participate in on-call schedules and incident management.

What you will bring to our team:

  • Proven engineering leadership experience guiding, inspiring, and mentoring software development teams.
  • Deep hands-on coding, debugging, and architectural design expertise across complex, scalable applications.
  • Hands-on experience experimenting with AI tools, and a natural curiosity to weave them into your everyday work.
  • Hands-on experience with feature development, large-scale refactors, rapid prototyping, and system maintenance.
  • Broad exposure to a diverse range of languages, tools, platforms, design patterns, and DevOps principles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Decisive, action-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving, project scoping, and stakeholder coordination skills.
